Tiwonge Simkonda has joined our Green Synergy team as our Community Development and Delivery Manager.
Tiwonge’s name means “we should be grateful” and as per her name, her philosophy is that she is very grateful to be part of the Green Synergy Team.
She is an avid advocate for social justice and human rights and my previous work experience with WaterAid, ActionAid and Trocaire has provided her with immense opportunities to influence positive and transformative change in the lives of vulnerable people and communities.
Tiwo’s role in Green Synergy will involve designing programs, setting up programmes and grants management systems and the delivery of our projects that are aimed at improving the mental well being of children, young people and adults.
She enjoys music, dancing, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. Tiwo is looking forward to working alongside passionate and enthusiastic people in Green Synergy and she believes that “Together we will achieve More!!
