Ellie's Memorial Garden

Ellie’s Garden is a memorial garden in memory of Ellie Bradford who was a former member of staff in Directorate of Housing & Investment and was a much loved and respected City of Lincoln Council Housing Officer who supported tenants on the housing estate.

Ellie’s Garden is a small green oasis in the heart of the Tower Estate in the City of Lincoln. Find out more from our Garden Manager Ana.

The land is owned by the City of Lincoln Council and Green Synergy has been acting as community guardians of the garden since 2013 with no lease.

The garden was developed out of waste land with the local community from the Tower Estate. Members of the Tower Estate community were looking after the garden until ill health meant that they were not able to maintain the garden.

Green Synergy is in the process of finalising a lease with the City of Lincoln Council to manage the community garden space.
