Lincolnshire Women in Third Sector Leadership (WTSL)

By the autumn before the pandemic, a group of women leaders had started having conversations about what they found to be shared experiences. This developed into having more structured conversations with other female leaders working in Third Sector Organisations in Lincolnshire.

During the lockdowns in 2020/21, a virtual meeting place for women leaders was piloted. It was a safe space to discuss the personal and professional challenges they were facing as leaders. The response to this group was very positive, with over 60 women joining one or more sessions. It became clear during these discussions that having this dedicated space to meet other women leaders was something that would be of benefit even after lockdown. Since the Network started, we’ve had a little over 120 women on the WTSL contact list and we continue to invite and welcome new members.

Lincolnshire Women in Third Sector Leadership (WTSL) is currently funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and hosted by Children’s Links for 3 years.

Green Synergy and our CEO, Ali Talbot is a proud member of  Lincolnshire Women in Third Sector Leadership

WTSL still aims to provide a safe space for women leaders to support themselves and others. Although this support enable them to be more effective leaders, the focus of the WTSL network is the individual not their organisation. Members and attendees value the focus the group provides on their needs, rather than on wider organisational issues. Their feedback continues to shape the Network.

Our Network warmly welcomes women currently in leadership positions, as well as emerging leaders, and women exhibiting leadership qualities/potential. We do not limit the number of women that can join from one organisation since membership is granted to individuals. However, prospective members have to be working or volunteering with a third sector organisations in Lincolnshire at the point of joining the Network.

Membership to the WTSL Network is free
