Green Synergy could not deliver our gardening and therapeutic charity activities without the generous support of our funders and supporters.
Current Funded Projects
These are some of the funders who are currently supporting Green Synergy programmes to enable people to socialise, learn and thrive through community gardening and therapeutic horticulture:
- BBC Children in Need: to deliver a programme of activities for disadvantaged children from the local community.
- National Lottery Community Fund (See How Our Garden Grows programme): to support a programme of organisational development to diversify income streams and develop trading and commissioning revenues.
- National Lottery Reaching Communities: Better Together programme: in partnership with Developmentplus and Abbey Access Training to deliver a programme to support people with mental health conditions.
- Mental Health and Wellbeing Investment Fund – Sustainability Strand – to fund Green WRAP programme of mental health support.
- Mental Health and Wellbeing Investment Fund – Innovation Strand – to support our Green Nature and Nurture programme supporting neurodiverse young adults to support their wellbeing and mental health.
- Suicide Prevention Fund – to support our Green shoots of Wellness programme supporting men’s mental health and wellbeing
- National Lottery Community Fund – Growing and Cooking on a Budget
- National Grid Community Fund: to fund warm spaces programmes of support to our local community.
- Lincolnshire Community Foundation: to fund a programme of slow cooker workshops supporting our local community to access warm and healthy food.
- Country Landowners Association: to meet capital costs of garden improvements.
- Lloyds Bank Foundation: unrestricted funds to support the development of Green Synergy.
- Ernest Cook Trust: additional commitments for the Green Influencers scheme to deliver environmental social action projects with 10–14-year-olds.
- Mere Charity: supporting the charity to provide community outreach trips for our local community

Previous Funded Projects have included:
- Greater Lincolnshire MOVE, funded by a Building Better Opportunities grant from the National Lottery Community Fund: to deliver a programme to help unemployed people to move back into employment.
- The Bishop of Lincoln’s Social Justice Fund: to support activities for older people and inter-generational activities.
- UK Government Community Renewal Fund: to deliver social and therapeutic gardening courses, including accredited basic horticulture training.
- Lincolnshire Co-op Community Champions: £2,657.23 for the installation of a cob oven.
