Green Synergy has been delighted to work in partnership with members of Stixwould Village Hall to create a large new planter for the outside of the newly restored village hall.
The planter project was part of a wider Heritage lottery fund project to restore the 1851 Village Hall back to its former glory.
The charity really lived up to its name with the synergy of working in partnership to source donated pallets very kindly donated by Graham Group which enabled our incredible volunteer David over the course of three weeks to design and construct the new pallet from upcycled materials.
Constructed in two halves for easy transportation, the planter was then sanded and stained with weather proof medium oak stain and lined.
We then delivered the planter out to Stixwould Village Hall and had the pleasure of meeting Melvyn to take delivery. the village hall group are now having a planting day to fill and plant the planter with beautiful plants.
If you are interested in having a planter built for your community, please email info@greensynergy.org.uk
